Thank you to our customers who use Megazone PoPs.

We would like to inform you of changes to the usage method for some apps you are using through Megazone PoPs.

Apps integrated into Megazone PoPs via OAuth 2.0 (hereinafter referred to as OAuth apps) will be changed from the existing method of use through administrator assignment to use through user consent to provide information.

The apps affected by these changes are:

• HyperBilling
• CloudClass
• Digital Solution Partners
• MCBP
• HostingKR

Even if the usage method changes, it will not affect the service use of existing users who use the app. Please refer to the details of the changes below.

Conditions for using OAuth apps

OAuth apps will be changed so that they can be used at any time by users who consent to providing information, even if they are not assigned by an administrator.

Consent to provide information to OAuth apps

Among the services provided by our company (MegazoneCloud), OAuth apps are considered to have consented to the provision of information when you first log in to the app with a Megazone account.

Among the services provided through third parties, including affiliates of MegazoneCloud, OAuth apps are considered to have consented to the provision of information when the user consents to the provision of third-party information after logging in to the app with a Megazone account.

Displaying OAuth apps in the launcher

OAuth apps will now only be exposed to the launcher if the user has consented to providing information, and will be provided in a separate section called 'Connected Services'.

Exceptions

However, certain OAuth apps may be exposed to the launcher in advance even before the user consents to providing information, taking into account usability and service operation methods.

• Example 1: For OAuth apps that require an invitation from a service administrator to use the service, the launcher may be exposed in advance even before the user consents to providing information. An example of this OAuth app is HyperBilling .
• Example 2: For OAuth apps that require administrator assignment in each organization, the app assignment feature will remain the same as before.
